Shruti Haasan on her Debut Film "Luck"

I was supposed to do another film before 'Luck' but certain things are just meant to fall in a pattern and for some reason it didn't work out. Out of the blue, I was considering three scripts at a time. But it was Imran who asked me to hear the script of 'Luck' and told me that I'll be good for the part. I readily agreed and met Soham. At first, I was a bit concerned and then it didn't take too much time to know that I'll be a part of 'Luck'.

Shruti Haasan on her co-star Imran Khan: "All the girls love Imran. I've known Imran since we were ten year olds. We've known each other for a long time. He is a very good friend and it's always nice to be working with a friend whom you've known since childhood. Many of my other friends tell me that Imran looks so hot that I should be lucky working with a hot star like him. But honestly, I've never looked at Imran with the intention of getting attracted to him. But I'm very happy for him for where he is today."

Shruti Haasan on her other co-stars in Luck: "Everyone knows what a wonderful actor Mithunda is. I ended up learning a lot while watching him. Working with Sanjay Dutt was also amazing. He is a cool and a complete rock star. Danny Sir is my favourite. He is a unique person. Chitrashi is a live wire. She has a never say die attitude towards life. Her energy is infectious and her enthusiasm is contagious."

Shruti Haasan on Dancing: "I've danced my whole life. I've always enjoyed dancing. When you're a part of a rock band, it's difficult to incorporate dance all the time. I feel dancing is a connection to your mind and body. It's only in the last four or five years that I've been really out of it doing different things. When it was time for 'Jee Le', all of my dancing experience just came back. The sense of enjoying what you're doing hit me and I danced like never before for that song."

Shruti Haasan is confident that she will rock Bollywood with her raw appeal and rock star looks. She says, "Luck isn't going to be a one trip pony. You will be seeing a lot more of me in time to come. I'm going to be sticking around in Bollywood for quite some time."

Vamanan Tamil Movie

Subramnia puram fame Jai's film " Vaamanan" is all set to release today. The movie is produced by R.Ravendran of Dream Valley Corporation, Vaamanan is a big budget, edge of the seat action thriller shot in various locales featuring, Rehman, Laxmirai, Oorvasi , Thalivasal vijay, sampath, santhanam along with new face priya.

The film boasts of using RC helicopter for the first time in South India as an integral aspect. The film is directed by debutant director I.Ahmed along with Arvind Krishna as the director of photography and Uvan Shankar Raja as the music director.

The story of the movie goes like this Jai has gone through a drastic makeover and lost more than 7 kgs to get the sleek "cityboy" look in this film. Jai plays Anand, a young carefree boy from salem who comes to chennai to stay along with his friend Chandru (santhanam) to pursue his dream. His passion and new found contacts which he develops in chennai introduce him to a new world and what follows as an after effect is the crux of the story. New face priya plays divya, his love interest and Laxmi rai dawns the role of pooja, a young model from delhi.

The film is set in an urban back drop and the film maker has attempted a new narrative which is compelling and visually captivating. Apart from Chennai, Hyderabad the film has been shot in Malaysia, Bangkok and Singapore.

Google's Challenge To Microsoft:

We are all familiar with the two titans in the field of Computer technology. They are Google and Microsoft. There seems to be a cold war happening between these titans.

Google is planning to introduce a fast, simple and secure computer operating system that is designed to work well on the web. This operating system is named as Google Chrome OS.

Google Chrome is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be aimed at netbook PC's. There is also plans to implement it in PC's.

Google said the operating systems that browsers currently run on were designed in an era when there was no web.

Users of Chrome OS can also look forward to a minimal user interface to make room for web-based interactions and a secure architecture.

"We are going back to the basics and completely redesigning the underlying security architecture of the OS so that users don't have to deal with viruses, malware and security updates," said Google.

Google Chrome OS is based on a Linux kernel, it will run on both Intel and ARM chips, and is aimed at enabling all web-based applications to work automatically.

Google has gradually been increasing the number of its web-based applications, such as G mail and Google Docs, based on premise that these applications will replace traditional software.

Microsoft holds 90% of market on net book PC operating system. Now Google is likely to give away this Google Chrome OS for free or nominal charge as is developed from a free and open source kernal, and larger goal surely would be to shut Microsoft out the Netbooks market.

Touching Incident

Today i happened to see an incident which touched my heart. After my office hour i was in hurry to go home. From my office i caught a bus which took me to the Broadway bus stand. I have to say few words about Broadway bus stand. Broadway bus stand is always fill with crowd. We can see different kinds of people over there. Since it's a depot one can see many buses from different areas over there.

Today the depot was heavily crowded than usual. I can see people are busy with their work. Among those crowd my attention turned towards two people. One is female of 22 age, looks fair, slim and beautiful then the other one is male of same age . They were busy discussing something. In the beginning i thought they might be lovers or friends. My intention towards them grow larger and larger so i decided to step out of the bus to have an ear over their conversation. I am very sure that they never noticed me. So i took the deep breath and stepped down from my bus. I standed their for a while and started to move closer to them. My anxiety started to grow as i am nearing them. I came closer to them and i was shocked! To my surprise they are both deaf and dumb. They are exchanging their words only by actions. Nobody could have guessed that they are both deaf and dumb. She was helping the boy to get his bus. The boy was saying thanks to her. After seeing that i apologized myself for what i have thought about them. Before realizing that i saw love in her eyes to him but after, i can see only pure care for him in her eyes. I can also see full satisfaction in her eyes. The bus depot was crowded heavily that we never cared for any body but she helped him. At that very moment i felt ashamed of myself being physically good not even cared for helping others.

We all have such experiences in our life. Sometimes these incidents remind us the real meaning of our life. Today i understood the real way of life means help others. This incident i would like to share with all my website visitors.

Sony Vegas: The Boon For Multimedia

Today one of my friend showed me a video. I was amazed after seeing the video. The video is about showing himself in double role. What amazed me is he is able to show his two roles at a time and their actions are so perfect as there were two people. He did that effect using the software called Sony Vegas. After hearing that i quickly browsed about it and collected some information.

Sony Vegas is a editing software published by Sony.It has many versions. Vegas does not require any specialized hardware to run properly, allowing it to operate on almost any standard Windows computer across a broad range of hardware. Features of this software can be categorized into two types:

Video features:

Vegas supports unlimited video and audio tracks, any aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9, etc.) and pixel aspect ratio, and any frame rate (23.97, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, etc.)
We can mix video clips with different frame rates and resolutions. Video settings such as frame rate, aspect ratio, etc. can be changed at any time during editing.

Audio features:

The software provides many tools for 5.1 surround mixes, including key frameable surround panning and effects for tracks. Surround projects can be rendered with the included Dolby-certified AC-3 encoder, included with the Vegas+DVD package. Film-style surround panning mode supports panning between speakers using a constant power model, which is optimized for theater-style speaker placement.

Ice Age 3- Dawn Of The Dinosaurs Movie Review

Ice Age is Computer Animated Movie.Its sequels are called Ice Age: The Meltdown and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. The movie was directed by Carlos Saldanha from a story by Michael J. Wilson.

Movie's Review: The third part of the ‘Ice Age’ saga suffers from franchise fatigue—the critters, most of whom we are familiar with from the past couple of films, and some that have been added in – don’t really get to do much that’s fresh and new.

Here they are, one more time—woolly mammoths Manny and Ellie now getting ready for parenthood, saber-tooth tiger Diego scared of losing his edge, acorn-loving squirrel Scrat finding romance in Scratte, scatty sloth Sid stumbling upon dinosaur eggs.

That’s where the trouble starts. It’s not just Ellie who’s feeling the pangs of impending mommy hood; Sid thinks he’ll make a perfect parent, and so what if his offspring start slavering at flesh and wrinkling their noses at broccoli?

For a film aimed at tots, ‘Ice Age 3’ is surprisingly dark: the dino mom takes her babies and Sid-the-‘floppy green thing’ to a subterranean world where dinosaurs reign supreme, forcing the gang to pass through a scary valley called ‘The Chasm Of Death’.

The rescue mission is headed by a gabby, super-irritating one-eyed weasel called Buck who wants to defeat the very dangerous Rudy the giant T Rex.

While Manny and Diego fight off the advancing dinos, Ellie gives birth, and produces a perfectly peachy baby mammoth called, what else, Peaches. That’s all very cute, but what are little kids to make of conversations revolving around ‘contractions’, and `hormonal imbalances’?

The chases (in animation movies, everyone chases everyone else) are fine, though. Just make sure you take the slightly older children, who can enjoy the action and at least some of the words.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Daniel Radcliffe teamed up with the Director David Yates to give an adventure movie "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince". The movie is of the kind Adventure, Fantasy, Mystery, Romance and more. The movie is said to be world wide release. The movie is going to hit the Indian screen on 17 July 2009. The plot of the movie goes like this:

As Harry Potter begins his 6th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he discovers an old book marked mysteriously "This book is the property of the Half-Blood Prince" and begins to learn more about Lord Voldemort's dark past.

Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts turns out to be quite the exciting year. First off is the arrival of a new teacher at Hogwarts, Horace Slughorn, who is a bit more useful to Harry than he realizes. Next, Harry obtains a Potions book which used to be belong to the very mysterious Half-Blood Prince. Harry finds that the Half-Blood Prince's ancient scribbles are written along the margins of almost every page, giving Harry advice on how to improve greatly on his Potions work, and also teaching him a few helpful (and dangerous) spells along the way.

Amidst this, Harry is starting private lessons with Professor Dumbledore, during which Harry learns the dark secrets of Voldemort's past, hoping that they could use these secrets to find a way to defeat him.

Harry's year gets even more stressful with the suspicious actions of Draco Malfoy, who has been sneaking around the school doing, so Harry assumes, Voldemort's bidding. Harry quickly becomes determined, and slightly obsessed, to find out exactly what Malfoy has been up to and putting and end to it.

Yet, during this time, Harry and his friends go through daily life, busy with school work, Quidditch, (in which Harry has been made captain of the team) and of course, romance. Ron has found a new girlfriend, Lavender Brown, a perky (if not obnoxious) Gryffindor student, and Hermione is not happy about it. Ron and Hermione's friendship takes a toll throughout the school year and Harry, as usual, is stuck in the middle. Harry, meanwhile, is facing a romantic dilemma of his own: he realizes he is falling for his best friend's sister, Ginny Weasley, who is unfortunately dating Harry's classmate, Dean Thomas. Harry's pining for Ginny and Ron's hilarious relationship with Lavender give this story a large dose of reality.

Throughout all the school drama, however, the obvious darkness of Voldemort's impending rise to power is always apparent. The incredible action-packed climax is sure to leave the audience stunned and, inevitably, prove that you shouldn't trust everybody who you think is good and also prove that not everyone can manage to survive.
